Looking for a fun and spooky way to celebrate Halloween just a little early with the family? Mountsberg Conservation Area's Spooktacular Halloween event is back, running weekends from Friday, October 3rd to October 26th, from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
This family-friendly event offers a mix of spooky fun and educational experiences. Guests can explore an illuminated night walk trail featuring themed zones like the Invasive Zone, Graveyard of the Undead, Ghostly Pirate Ship, and a Giant Pumpkin. The Haunted Barn and wagon rides add to the adventure, and visitors can enjoy encounters with Mountsberg's resident snakes and raptors. A new DinoRaptors scavenger hunt allows participants to become Junior Paleontologists and earn a badge and treats. A fortune teller will also be on-site for child-friendly fortunes.
Tickets are required for this event, and it’s recommended for children ages 5 and up. Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and bring flashlights to navigate the darker areas. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times and are not allowed in areas with live animals. Wagon ride tickets are available for purchase in the gift shop.
