The Dundas Cactus Festival returns August 15–17, 2025, celebrating its 50th edition in charming downtown Dundas, Ontario. This free admission street festival transforms King Street into a buzzing hub of activity, featuring four entertainment stages, over 100 vibrant vendors, and the Fortino’s Family Fun Zone with inflatables, reptile shows, pony rides, face painting, and character meet-and-greets—including Sonic the Hedgehog and Cinderella.
The Festival Patio Stage delivers marquee performances by Canadian artists, while additional stages highlight local and emerging talent alongside unique acts like pro wrestling, storytelling, and Big Air BMX shows. With its rich history rooted in the legacy of Dutch cacti greenhouse operator Ben Veldhuis—who earned Dundas the nickname “cactus capital of the universe”—the festival continues to unite families, musicians, artists, and businesses in a vibrant community celebration.
