Get ready to kick off summer in style at the Downtown Milton SummerFest this Saturday, June 7th From 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Main Street East will transform into a lively pedestrian zone, brimming with over 100 local vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Enjoy performances on the BMO Stage, including a headline act by CMAGIC5 at 7:00 p.m., and explore the SummerFest Community Stage for local artists and interactive demos. Kids can delight in rock climbing, bouncy castles, face painting, and balloon twisting, while adults can unwind at the Beer Market hosted by Third Moon Brewing. Don't miss the historic Waldie Blacksmith Shop's open house, featuring blacksmith demos and classic cars . Plus, Milton Transit is offering free rides all day, making it easy to join the festivities. Remember to bring a donation of new pyjamas (infant to age 18) to support the Pack a Bag for a Friend Foundation. It's a fantastic way to celebrate community spirit and the start of summer!

Get ready for a high-energy night at Chudleigh’s Summer Cider Nights with the Material Girls tribute show on Saturday, June 7th! From 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM p.m., enjoy a dazzling performance on The Porch featuring spot-on tributes to Madonna, Lady Gaga, Pink, and Heart. The show runs from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with another at 9:30 - 10:30, promising a fun-filled evening of music and entertainment. Halton Region invites residents to safely clear out unwanted items at the upcoming Special Waste Drop-off Day, taking place in Burlington on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM This free, one-day event is open exclusively to Halton residents and provides a secure and environmentally responsible way to dispose of household hazardous waste and electronic items that can't go in regular waste or recycling bins. Whether you're dropping off old paint cans, expired household cleaners, or outdated electronics, it's a great way to declutter while helping to protect the environment. The event will be held at 367 North Service Road in Burlington. Please remember, this event is for residential use only—commercial waste will not be accepted.
